Elkton, Sept 12, 1923

Francis T. Burns.
  Francis T. Burns died Friday night at his home near Elkton, after an illness 
of nephritis.  He was a veteran of the Civil War and was about eighty-one years 
of age.  He was twice married and is survived by his second wife, four sons and 
two daughters by his first marriage.
  The funeral was held Tuesday morning with the services at the Elkton Catholic 
Church and interment in the adjoining cemetery.
