McKinney, wife of Stephen McKinney, of North East, died Tuesday of last week of influenza, aged fifty eight years. She is survived by her husband and five children. Cecil County News Vol. 29, Number 30, Elkton, Maryland, Wednesday Afternoon, May 11, 1910 NECROLOGY MRS. ANN LOCKARD Mrs. Ann Lockard, widow of the late John P. Lockard, died at her home at McKinneytown in Elk Neck last Wednesday, of the infirmities of age, aged ninety-two years. She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Margaret Strickland, of Newark; Mrs. Ann Hutton, of Darby, PA; Mrs. Mary Malin, of Toughkenamon, PA; Mrs. William T. Pugh, of North East; Mrs. Ellen Short and Mrs. Anna M. Deputy, of Elkton, and three sons, Robert Lockard, of Burlington, and John and Joseph Lockard, of Elk Neck. Besides her children she is survived by thirty-nine grandchildren, a large number of great-grand children and several great-great- grandchildren. The funeral was held Friday at her late home, interment at the cemetery at McKinneytown. Cecil County News Vol. 36 No. 23 March 21, 1917 A. Wilmer McKinney A. Wilmer McKinney, formerly of Elk Neck, died Thursday evening at the home of his niece, Mrs. Clinton McNabb in Philadelphis, after a long illness of cancer. Mr. McKinney was about sixty five years of age and was born and spent most of his life in Elk Neck. He was a member of Riverview Council, Jr. O.U.A.M., of that place, and Shawnah Trive, Improved Order of Red Men, of North East. He is survived by two brothers and one sister. The deceased was an Uncle of Joseph B. McKinney, near Elkton. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon, with services at Hart's M. E. Church, Elk Neck, and interment in the adjoining cemetery. Cecil County News Vol. 30 No. 48 September 13, 1911 Necrology William H. Cook William H. Cook, a veteran of the Civil War, died on September 4 at his home in Elk Neck, aged seventy-one years. Cecil County News Vol. 44, No. 27 Wednesday Afternoon, July 1, 1925 Necrology John T. McKinney Died: June 19, 1925, at his home in North East. Cause of Death: long illness. Age: He was seventy-four years of age. Notes: Mr. McKinney was a native of Cecil Co., and for many years followed farming in Elk Neck. Survivors: his wife, who was Miss Phoebe McVaugh, and five children - Thomas D. McKinney, of Pleasant Hill, Mrs. Howard Surran, of Philadelphia, Mrs. Arthur Pryor, near Elkton; Miss Lillian and Miss Amelia at home, Grant Gardy, of North East, is a stepson of the deceased. Funeral: June 24, 1925 Interment: North East M. E. Cemetery. Cecil County News Vol 37 No. 15 Jan. 23, 1918 Amos A. McKinney a well known farmer of Elk Neck, died last Wednesday at his home, after a brief illness of pneumonia, aged seventy-three years. He was on upright, industrious man, esteemed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, three sons, Allie and C. Herbert, of Elk Neck, and Joseph B. who resides on the Evans farm near town, and two married daughters. The funeral was held Sunday, afternoon, with interment at Hart's M. E. Cemetery, Elk Neck.
