Death Calls Mr. Giffing

William R. Giffing died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Irene Norris, near 
Cambria, Harford County, January 27, in his 75th year of his age. Interment was 
made in Oakwood cemetery Monday. Rev. Mr. Brown, pastor of the church at that 
place, of which the deceased was a member, delivered the funeral sermon. Mr. 
Giffing spent most of his long life in this district, where he had many 
friends. A wife and eight grown children survive. him. We sympathize with the 
bereaved family.
