NECROLOGY

MRS. ANN LOCKARD
Mrs. Ann Lockard, widow of the late John P. Lockard, died at her home at 
McKinneytown in Elk Neck last Wednesday, of the infirmities of age, aged ninety-two
years.  She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Margaret Strickland, of Newark; Mrs. Ann
Hutton, of Darby, PA; Mrs. Mary Malin, of Toughkenamon, PA; Mrs. William T. Pugh, of
North East; Mrs. Ellen Short and Mrs. Anna M. Deputy, of Elkton, and three sons, Robert
Lockard, of Burlington, and John and Joseph Lockard, of Elk Neck.  Besides her children 
she is survived by thirty-nine grandchildren, a large number of great-grand children and 
several great-great- grandchildren.

The funeral was held Friday at her late home, interment at the cemetery at McKinneytown.
