Cecil Democrat September 4, 1897  Deaths of the Week
Mrs. Sarah J Steele died on Tuesday at the residence of her son-in-law George 
T. Ewing, in Lewisville, in the sixty-third year of her age. The funeral 
services were held at St. Johns Church on Friday afternoon at one o'clock, the 
interment being in the church cemetery. She is the widow of Garret Steele, and 
formerly resided near Calvert.
