EGNER, SR., CECIL COUNTY, MARYLAND I, Roy M. Egner, of Elkton, in the County of Cecil and the State of Maryland of the age of 35 years, of sound mind and memory, do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in the manner following: I give and bequeath to my four children all of my Estate. After my funeral expenses and the cost of a monument are paid for I leave my cousin Helen E. Scott to take care of my Funeral and select a monument and markers for each grave. My Estate consists of what money I have in the Saving fund - my check account. Eight hundred Dollars $800 my cousin Leonard E. Major of 1424 Bolton St., Baltimore, Md. owes me bal on loan. Ninety dollars $90 William T. Collins of Elkton, Md. owes me on Furniture. I also have two Insurance policies - one for $500. and the other for $350. After all expenses are paid the balance of my Estate is to be held in Trust until the children reach the age of 18 years. The interest of the money is to be paid to the children each year the 20 of Dec. There is to be no expense put in for any of the children as they were all taken to raise untill (sic) they were 21 years of age. And lastly, I do hereby nominate and appoint The Elkton Banking and Trust Co. to be executor of this my last will and Testament. CECIL COUNTY SS: Dec. 21st 1922 Then came Irvin T. Kepler, Trust Officer of The Elkton Banking & Trust Co. Executor named in the foregoing instrument of writing and made oath in due form of law, that the same is the true and whole last Will and Testament of Roy M. Egner, late of Cecil County, deceased, that hath come to his knowledge and possession; that due publication of the contents thereof hath been made, and that he knows of none other or any reason why the probate thereof should not be taken. Test: Robert J. McCauley - Register STATE OF MARYLAND SS: Cecil County, to Wit: Dec 21st 1922. Personally appeared R. Emma Major and Helen M. Scott, witnesses of lawful age who, being duly sworn according to law, say that they were well and personally acquainted with Roy M. Egner, the Testator in the foregoing Will (dated June 7th 1922) and are familiar with his signature having frequently seen him write his name as well as other matters; that they have carefully examined the foregoing signature "Roy M Egner", and verily believe it to be his true and genuine signature, and in his own proper handwriting. That the witnesses to said Will, Albert D. Ruse and Lewis C. Toomey are beyond the jurisdiction of this court and cannot well be had. Egner, late of Cecil County, deceased, and also the evidence adduced as to its Validity Orders and Decrees, this 21st day of December, A.D. - 1922 - that the same be admitted to probate in this court as the true and genuine last Will and Testament of the said Roy M.
