Of money paid Elizabeth Lyon hire two boys for the year 1797. Of a balance due the Estate of William Canter as for first account Liber folio for which the deceased is liable. Richard Parker - James Lyon - Sureties Representatives, three sons of the deceased, to wit, Richard Canter, Zachariah Canter and Elijah Canter. At the foot of the foregoing account was this written -- Charles County Sct. July 12th, 1800 then came Elijah Canter the accountant within mentioned and made oath on the holy Evangels of Almighty God that the foregoing account as it stands stated is just and true and that he hath actually and bond fide paid or secured to be paid the particular sums for which he claims an allowance which thereupon after due examination is passed - Certified by, Humphrey Barnes Reg.
