To JAMES SIMMS From BENJAMIN CONTEE, of Charles County, Md., and SARAH RUSSELL CONTEE, formerly Sarah Russell Lee, wife of said Benjamin Contee, For 5 shillings and for various and many good causes, all their right, title, estate, property claim, etc., to one undivided twelfth part of the military or county lands either on the southeasterly or northwestern side of the Ohio River, to which the late Philip Richard Francis Lee, of the Virginia Line Troops on Continental establishment was entitled as an officer in the American Army, either by the laws of the United States or of the State of Virginia relative to military or county land.
