Guy from Maria A. Guy Deed recorded in Charles County Maryland May 8, 1833 Liber I.B., No. 20, Page 377 At the request of John W. Guy the following Deed was recorded this 8th day of May Anno Domini 1833. This Indenture made this seventh day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three by and between Maria A. Guy of Charles County and state of Maryland of the one part and John W. Guy of the same county and state aforesaid of the other part; Whereas the said Maria A. Guy hath and claimeth a right and title of dower by virtue and in consequence of her marriage with a certain John Guy, late of Charles County deceased, in and to a certain tract or tracts parts of tracts or parcels of land situate lying and being in Durham Parish in Charles County aforesaid commonly called by the names "Ingerthrop" "Ingerstone" "The Lane Reconveyed Francy's or Francis' Mistake" "Betsy's Delight" "Franklins Beginning" and "Come By Chance" containing in the whole four hundred and seventy-four acres, two woods and twenty-one perches more or less, which said land was purchased by the said John Guy, her deceased husband, in his lifetime from a certain William P. Ford, William Morris and Philip I. Ford; Commissioners appointed by Charles County Court to sell said real estate herein referred to, reference to a deed from Commissioners to said John Guy bearing date on or about the first day of June eighteen hundred and twenty-nine recorded in Liber I.B. No. 18 folios 431, 432, 433, 434 and 435 one of the deed and conveyance records of Charles County, will more fully appear and whereas the said Maria A. Guy for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and seventy-five dollars, current money of the United States, cash to her in hand paid by the said John W. Guy, hath agreed to sell and convey, release and relinquish all and all manner of dower right and title of dower this the said Maria A. Guy now hath, might should or of right ought to have or claim of in or to or out of the said land as before described and freely clearly and absolutely to remise release and forever give claim to and to grant bargain sell and convey all the right title and interest which she has and may have by virtue of her marriage aforesaid in and to the aforesaid land and premises with every of the appurtenances, and all and all manner of action and actions writ and writs of dower, and right in and to the same rents and to the said John W. Guy his heirs and assigns forever. Now this Indenture witnesseth that the said Maria A. Guy, late wife of the said John Guy, deceased (being at the sealing and delivery hereof above the age of thirty years and unmarried) for and in consideration of the recited premises and for and in consideration of the said sum of one hundred and seventy-five dollars current money of the United States, cash, to her in hand paid by the said John W. Guy (son of the said John Guy deceased) the receipt whereof she does hereby anchor xxx, and from every part and parcel thereof doth hereby acquit asconerate and discharge the said John W. Guy his heirs executors and administrators, she the said Maria A. Guy hath granted bargained sold and conveyed, remised and released and by these presents doth grant bargain sell and convey and freely clearly and absolutely remise and release rents the said John W. Guy his heirs and assign all and all manner of right title claim and interest whatsoever she the said Maria A. Guy now hath, may might should or of right ought to have or claim of in to or out the said tract or parcel or tracts or parcels of land and premises herein before referred to the called "Ingerthrop" "Ingerstone", "The Lane Reconveyed Fancy's" or "Francis' Mistake", "Betsey's Delight", "Franklins Beginning" and "Come By Chance", containing four hundred and seventy-four acres, two woods and twenty- one perches (reference to the return of Commissioners at march Court eighteen hundred and twenty-five now of record on the records of Charles County Court will appear) or any part thereof, to have and to hold all her right title and interest in and to the said tract of land so as aforesaid described called "Ingerthrop" "Ingerstone", "The Lane Reconveyed Fancy's" or "Francis' Mistake", "Betsey's Delight", "Franklins Beginning" and "Come By Chance", or by whatsoever name or names the same may be called, together with the buildings and appurtenances and all on xxxgular other the premises hereby granted bargained, bargained and sold, remised and released or intended for to be and every part and parcel thereof with this and every of the appurtenances, unto the said John W. Guy his heirs assigns forever and to and for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever, that the said Maria A. Guy for herself her heirs executors and administrators and for every of them doth covenant promise and grant to and with the said John W. Guy his heirs and assigns by these present that neither the said Maria A. Guy or any other person or persons whomsoever for her or in her name any manner of action or writ of dower, or any manner of right or title of dower of in or to the same tract or parcel of land and premises with the appurtenances or any part thereof shall or may have claim, challenge or demand, against the said John W. Guy his heirs or assigns but that the said John W. Guy his heirs and assigns shall and may peaceably have hold and enjoy the said land and premises so granted and released as aforesaid without the lawful let hindrance, trouble, eviction interruption or disturbance whatsoever of the said Maria A. Guy her executors administrators or assigns or of any person or persons, lawfully claiming or to claim by from or under her them or any of them. In Testimony whereof the said Maria A.
