Born in Washington, D.C., on February 25, 1966, he was the son of Shelia Ann and Raymond Ronald Miller. A 1984 graduate of McDonough High School, he was a specialist four in the Army, stationed at Fort Riley, Kan. He was also a member of Sacred Heart Church in La Plata. In addition to his parents, hi is survived by his paternal grandparents, John and Nellie Miller; Uncle Bill Miller; aunt Donna Miller; two other aunts; and three uncles. Prayer will be held 8 PM, Wednesday, May 13, at Arehart Funeral Home, La Plata. Services will be held at 10:AM Thursday, May 14, at Scared Hearts Church. Father Edward Hartel officiates. Internment will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Harry Woodrow Swan III, Charles Norris, Jr. and U.S. Army personnel. Additional Comments: John had just been discharged from the Army and was on his way home when he was involved in the car accident that took his life.
