                               WILL OF
              FRANCIS HARRISON, OF CHARLES COUNTY, MD.

  Daughter, Diana Price, my land belonging to the "Old Field," from the
head of the "Gutt" up the Branch to the east side of my now dwelling
plantation.
  Daughter, Violetta Harrison, personalty and the land I now live on, and
if she dies before marriage, then her personal estate to go to her mother.

Wife, Elizabeth, one-third of the orchard in the "Old Field" for ten years,
and all the residue.
Extrix.: My wife, Elizabeth Harrison.
  Testamentary Bond on estate of Francis Harrison, late of Charles County,
Md., deceased.   Extrix..: Elizabeth Harrison.   Sureties: Richard Price
and John Thomas.
Witnesses: Thos. Evans, Margaret Hayward, Mary Wakelin.
Will dated September 9, 1712. Proved April 20, 1713.
Bond dated May 18,1713, £100.

    NOTE: Who the widow was before marriage I do not now (January, 1916)
know, but she later married Thos. Osburn, died 1726-7. In 1727 or 1728 she
lastly married Absalom Thorne, died 1735. She died 1761; her will proved
March 25, 1761, Charles County, Md. I suspect she was not the mother of
Diana, daughter of this testator, who married Price. This testator's
daughter, Violetta Harrison (by his widow Elizabeth), married, first,
William Hoskins, died 17Z7, and left two daughters, Eliz. and Mary Hoskins.
Violetta (Harrison) Hoskins later married Col Robert Hanson (who had
previously been married) and had issue. Her daughter Eiiz. Hoskins married
Walter Hanson and had issue, and her daughter Mary Hoskins first married
Mr. Jno. Cunninghame and had issue, and later she married Mungo Muschett.
Hence this testator's daughter, Violetta Harrison had children by Col.
Robert Hanson and she had grandchildren by Walter Hanson and Eliza.
Hoskins, and therefore this testator's widow, Eliz., had grandchildren by
Col. Robt. Hanson and she had great grandchildren by Walter Hanson, who was
a nephew of Col. Robert Hanson.-R. T. Semmes.
