  SAMUEL WARD MIDDLETON OF CHARLES COUNTY, MD.

  Wife, Catherine Middleton, one-third of my estate, both real and personal.
My surviving children by my said wife, the other two-thirds of my estate.
My unborn child, if it lives, to share equally with my other children.

Extrx.: My wife, Catherine Middleton.
Witnesses: Samuel Hanson, Richard B. Meek, James Posey.
  Will dated October 19, 1800. Proved December 5, 1803.


  Final and third Add'l Acct. and distribution of estate of Samuel Ward
Middleton, late of Charles County, Md., deceased. By Richard Meek and
Catherine Meek, the Extrix. Sureties, Richard Meek, Francis Shepherd and
Francis Dunnington. The representatives are the widow and five children,
viz: Gtherine Ann Ireland Middleton. Harriet Middleton. Tolever
(Taliaferro?) Hooe Middleton. Mary Ann Dent Ireland Middleton. Dated
September 10, 1812.

    NOTE: This counts up only four instead of five. The one left out was
Eliza beth Ward Middleton. See the will of the mother of these children,
ullder the name Catherine T. Meek, dated October 31, 1818, and proved
December 7, 1818, Charles County, Md.
