SEMMES OF CHARLES COUNTY, MD. Son, Bennet B. Semmes, Son, George W. Semmes, my gold watch, chain and seals and one bed stead, bed and furniture which formerly belonged to his deceased mother. (Item.-It is my will that my said son George W. Semmes be continued at Georgetown College until August, 1833, to be paid for out of my general estate and not out of his portion.) (Item.-All the rest of my estate of whatever nature to be equally divided between my four children, to wit): Daughter, Ann Harriet Tiar. Daughter, Eleanor Ann Freeman. Son, Bennet B. Semmes. Son, George W. Semmes. (Item.-Whereas, I have heretofore given to my daughter, Ann Harriet Tiar, property amounting to $750, and to my daughter, Eleanor Ann Freeman, property amounting to $270, it is my will that those sums be taken into estimate in ascertaining the amount of my estate to be divided among my four children as aforesaid and to be counted as payments on their portions.) Executor: My son-in-law, John Douglass Freeman, to whom I bequeath 2 1/2 per cent. commission on my whole estate as compensation for administering on my estate. Witnesses: Charles A.
