Daughter, Eleanor Adams, during her life, 100 A. land, being part of tract I bought of Archibald Johnson, called "Leitchfield Enlarged," to be laid off so as to include ye plantation that is now on it, and after her death to go to my grandson, Richard Adams. Son, Joseph Semmes, £50 sterling money of Great Britain. Daughter, Rachel, £50 sterling. Daughters, Elizabeth, Catherine and Clare, £150 sterling each. To the poor of this parish where I now dwell, £30 current money to be distributed by Mr. George Hunter, or his successor. Daughters Mary Ann, Martha and Teresa, all my lands and tenements except the 100 acres above mentioned, for equal division, and to them all the residue of my personal estate; and if any of my said three (3) daughters should die in their nonage, or without lawful issue, then their part to go to the surviving sisters.
