Son, Dr. Edward Semmes, 27 A. land in Charles County, called "Semmes Help," and also as much land to be taken off "Hargisses Hope" and "Hungerford Hope" as will make up the 27 A: to 200 A. to be run out, etc., so as not to include my dwelling house. Son, Marmaduke Semmes, all the remainder of both tracts, viz: "Hargisses Hope" and "Hungerford Hope," together with my water grist mill. Daughters, Violetta and Martha Semmes, 100 A., more or less, in Charles County, called "Turle," and 50 A. of Manor land which I hold by lease joining "Turle" for equal division. and if either dies the whole to go to survivor. Son, Marmaduke Semmes, Daughter, Violette Semmes, Daughter, Martha Semmes, Daughter, Mary Arm Luckett, Granddaughter, Eleanor Lucl;ett, Two grandchildren, Eleanor and Henrietta Luckett, Granddaughter, Henrietta Luckett, Granddaughter, Henrietta Semmes, Granddaughter, Catherine Boarman, Wife, Henrietta Semmes, £30 currency, for distribution among, the poor. Wife, Henrietta Semmes, during her life, the Mansion House and plantation where I now live. My two daughtcrs, Violetta and Martha, to have liberty to live in Mansion House during their unmarried lives. Son, Marmaduke: If he should marry before his mother's death, that he remove, at his mother's desire, to the plantation and house I bought of Charles Hungerford. Son, Thomas Semmes, Daughter, Susannah Boarman, Wife, Henrietta Semmes, Son, Marmaduke Semmes, after my wife's death, my clock and desk over and above the distributive part of his mother's estate, so that said clock and desk may not be removed from the premises.
