Wife, Eleanor Simms, and five daughters--Sarah Simms, Elizabeth Simms, Jean Simms, Eleanor Simms and Mary Simms. During their single or unmarried lives, the lease of the plantation whereon I now live. If any one of the said parties shall die or marry, my will is that the surviving single parties or party shall enjoy said plantation unmolested during the aforesaid term. Wife, Eleanor Simms, during her single life, the use of my whole estate, real and personal, with the proviso that my children who are not already educated may have such education, out of my estate, as is necessary, or as their other brothers and sisters heretofore had; and that my Son, Ignatius Simms, be maintained out of my said estate until he shall arrive at proper age to be capable to get his own living by his industry. Also my five daughters above named be maintained in like manner until they are married or think proper to leave their mother, at which time each of them shall be entitled to receive out of said estate £50 current money, viz: my aforesaid son and daughters. Sons, Jesse Simms and Massey Simms, £50 each out of said estate when they shall marry. Son, Bennett B. Simms, £19-8-9 over and above what he has heretofore had. (Item.-What remains of my estate upon the death or marriage of my wife shall be equally divided between my nine children mentioned above, reserving to my said wife, if married, one-third part during her life, and at her death to be divided as above after paying Eleanor Cusick ten pounds a year as far forth as I have assets in my hands.)
