I, Eleanor Wedding, being in my proper health, mind and memory, do make my last will and Testament in manner & form following. (Vizt.) First, I give my soul to almighty God who gaveth me, secondly, my body to be buried at the discretion of my Executor. Item, I will & appoint my well beloved son, Thos. Wedding, to be my whole & sole Executor. Item, I give to my well beloved son, Thos. Wedding, all my land. Item, I give to my well beloved daughter, Anne Wedding, one Black mare, Bridle, & side saddle. Item, I give to my well beloved daughter, Eleanor Harriss Wedding, one feather bed & furniture. Item, I give to my well beloved dauther, Anne Wedding & my well beloved daughter, Eleanor Harriss Wedding, the crop that my be begun or perhaps made of the present year of my death & also all the provisions that shall be in the house at the time of my death, And all the remainder of my Estate is my will & desire for it to be equally divided amongst my well beloved children, Nicodemus Wedding, Elizabeth Bousman, Susanah Mahoney, Amilla Church, Chloe Wedding, & my grandson, Aquilla Logan, July ye.12th 1791 Eleanor Wedding (her mark) add to the twenty first line before sinature [sic] the words Elizabeth Bousman Signed. sealed, & acknowledged in the presence of us - James Miles (his mark) Thomas Darnall On the back of the foregoing will, it is written (Viz't.) Charles County Gs't. 10th October 1791 Then came Thomas Wedding, Ex'r. of Eleanor Wedding, late of Charles County, Dec'd. & made oath on the hole Evangels of Almighty God, that the within Instrument of writing is the true & whole last will and Testament of the said dec'd. that hath come to his hands or posession & that he doth not know of any other.
