Wife, Catherine Winter, during widowhood and provided she abides by my last will and testament, the use of all that part of my now dwelling plantation called "Effton Hills," containing by patent 584 acres, which lies to the southward of a line, etc. Also, on the same conditions, the use of all my negroes, except those especially bequeathed herein; also a small tract bought of Francis Perry and not yet conveyed. Son, William Winter, my dwelling plantation, called "Effton Hills," and if he dies without issue the same to go to my unborn child if a son. Son, William Winter, all that tract called "Perry's Last Chance," which I have bargained for and bought of Francis Perry, 15 acres, and adjoining my dwelling plantation. Brother, Walter Winter, to have the care of my son William and the management of his property during his minority, provided my wife marries again. Daughters, Anne and Elizabeth and unborn child, the residue equally, reserving the use of same to my wife so long as she remains single. Wife, should she marry again, she must relinquish all power herein conveyed to care for and manage the property of my children, and the same authority is hereby conveyed to my Extor., my brother Walter Winter.
