I WILLIAM TURNER of Charles County in the state of Maryland being sick and weak in body, but of sound and disposing mine, memory and understanding, considering the certainty of eath and the uncertainty of the time thereof; and being desirous to settlemy wordly affairs and there by the better prepared to leave this world when it shall please God to call me home, do therfore make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say: First and principally I commit my soul unto the hand of Almighty God, and my body to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my executo herin after named, and after my death and funeral charges and paid I devise and bequeath as follows: I give and bequeath to my nephew WILLIAM STEPHEN GIBBONS my plantation lying on Swansons Creek past COLVERTON MANOR to him and his heirs forever. Item I give and bequeath to JANE SPENCE one hundred dollars to be paid her out of the money her father ISAC SPENCER owen me. I give and bequeath to niece MARGARET MCPHERSONtow hundred dollars to be paid out of money due me to be paid to her at the age of sixteen. I give and bequeath to ELIZABETH P. BEAN all the money that JAMES & EDWARD TURNER owes after paying a judgment due EDWARD PAYE. Item My will is that all the residue of my property shall be equally divided between my two brothers and one sister, Eliz, JOSEPH A. TURNER, JOHN L. TURNER and MARGARET D. GIBBONS And Lastly I do hereby Constitute appoint EDWARD TURNER to be my sole executor of this my last will and testament revoking and annulling all former Wills by me heretofore made, ratifying and confirming none other to be by last Will and Testament.
