She was born at the family homestead in Woolfords,Md on December 3,1873.She was the daughter of the late William and Charlotte Linthicum Asplen. Mr.and Mrs Purnell Asplen now live at that residence. In 1903 she married Harrison Bramble Dixon and they resided in Church Creek for the last quarter century.Mr Dixon died in 1920. Survived by one daughter and one son.Mrs Louise O'Gullette of Church Creek and Major J Harrison Dixon who is in the U.S Army stationed in Tokyo,Japan. One sister Mrs Nina Hubbard of Westminister,Md. Two Brothers;Purnell and Charles Asplen of Woolfords. Two grandchildren;Elizabeth Anne Gullette of Church Creek and Mary Lynn Dixon of Tokyo. Funeral at LeCompte Funeral Home.Interment Old Trinity Church Cemetery in Church Creek.
