The following is the will of Marcy Fountain, Jr., born about 1696 in Somerset County, 
Maryland, the son of Marcy Fountain and Mary Bozman.  Marcy Fountain, Jr. was married 
to Mary Beauchamp.

In the name of God Amen. I Marcey Fountain of Dorchester County being sick of 
body but of sond and perfect sence and memory Thanks be to God for the same I 
do appoint and ordain this to be my last will and testament revolking all 
other let them be of what tenor and date soever. I give unto my son John 
Fountain fifty acres of land part of a tract of land called "Fancy" laid out 
for one hundred acres more or less.
I give to my son Samuel Fountain the remainder of the above mentioned tract 
of land called "Fancy" and to heirs forever.
I give to my two sons John Fountain and Samuel Fountain on hundred acres of 
land called "Coixes Fields" (sometimes written as Coqurricus Fields) to be 
equally divided between them and their heirs forever, lying on the southside 
of Phillips Creek, and all the rest of my land to be equally divided between 
my two sons John Fountain and Samuel Fountain an their heirs forever.
I give to my beloved wife one young Sque Ball boss (some kind of a horse) 
about three years old and my riding mare called Fenexs and plow and harness 
and tacking there belonging and her heirs
I give to my son John Fountain my writing desk and his heirs forever.
To wife Mary, extx., and daus. Mary and Nancy at age 16, residue of personal 
estate to be divided between 4 children and their heirs.
My will is that my wife Mary Fountaine shall be whole and sole executrix of 
this my last will and testament as witness and sealed 21 Jul 1734

In 1725 Marcy was in Dorchester Co. and inherited 100 ac. "Murphies Addition" 
from John Beauchamp (father-in-law) for whose estate he was executor.

8 Dec 1733 Henry Turner of Dorchester Co., Planter, sold to Marcy Fountain, 
of the same county, "Fancy" on the east side of Great Choptank River at 
Phillips Creek, adj. "Doncaster" and "Edmondsom Reserve" and containing 100 
ac.
