All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/md/mdfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Laura Connors lauconn@msn.com August 26, 2005, 3:35 pm Source: Maryland Prerogative Court, Book 36, Liber Wd1, Page 97, Maryland State Archives, Msa Sm16, Roll No. Sr4430 Written: September 14, 1767 Recorded: October 6, 1767 Abstract: 14 September 1767 I William PRITCHET being very sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory… Decent Christian burial at the discretion of my executor. - To Sarah PRITCHET my well beloved wife all my rights of 3 tracts of land, Pritchett’s Regulation, Pritchett’s Addition and 1/3 of Partnership until my son Jabus PRITCHETT reaches 21 and then all but her thirds to my son Jabus and his heirs. - my son Edward PRITCHET will make a division with Sara PRITCHET my wife across his tracts of land called Stoe [?] and Hereford which division beginning at a marked scrub white oak standing near the road and from that tree a line drawn east and be north [?] across there said lands then my desire is for my wife Sarah PRITCHET and my son Jabus PRITCHETT to have all that lands from that east and be north line. - to my daughter Josebed PRITCHET one gold ring and pair of stays and one “Chinze Gound” - to my 3 sons Levin PRITCHET, William PRITCHETT and Elijah PRITCHETT 15 pounds out of my estate to be put to their schooling. - To my son Edward PRITCHETT one shilling sterling. - To my son Jabus PRITCHETT one shilling sterling. - To my beloved wife Sarah PRITCHET my best feather bed, my Negro Silva and Dusk and Land Mill and Negro BOB and my best horse and side saddle and the rent of my land due from Elender Hill besides her thirds of my estate. - Appoint Sarah sole executrix.
