Rhoades Edward Napolean Otho febuary 1849 son of Otho and Sarah Ann Duvall ( the date June 26 1823 is written at the bottom with no notation) Deaths Georgia Victoria(?) was 22 years 5 months and departed this life March 1847 daughter of Phillip and Margery B. Anderson. Phillip Anderson died September 19, 1856 Margery B. Anderson died July 17, 1858 Mannilla Virginia fell asleep in Jesus May 30, 1860 aged 3 years 3 weeks and 3 days James C S Rhoades son of John H. and Christa F. Anderson Rhoades died January 10, 1913 Margaret A. wife of James C. S. died June 24, (Tues) 1930 Marriages John H. Rhoades and Christa F. Anderson were married September 8, 1846 Otho H. Duvall and Sarah A. Anderson were married March 22, 1847 James C. S. Rhoades and Margaret Ann McCully married April 14, 1872 in McKeesport Pa. Additional Comments: There was a note with these bible pages that read: This Bible was published in 1844 and was used constantly from that time until a few years ago. It was the property of Mrs. John H. Rhoades of Weverton, Maryland. During the Civil War it was read by both Union and Confederate Soldiers and forty years ago was used in Devotional exercises in the public schools here in McKeesport. John H. Rhoades enlisted in the Union army in Indiana and was killed at the Battle of Shiloh.
