At the request of Charles Fare the following Bill of Sale was recorded 19th 
April 1785. To wit
Know all Men by these presents that I Isaac Simmons of Frederick County and 
State of Maryland for and in Consideration of the Sum of fifteen pounds paid in 
Gold and Silver, esteeming{(sp)possibly sterling} Dollars at seven Shillings 
and sixpence each, to me in Hand paid the Receipt whereof I do hereby 
acknowledge. hath bargained sold granted and by these presents do bargain sell 
and grant unto Charles Fair of the County and State aforesaid all the Grain in 
the Ground, one Bay Mare, and one Black Colt, all the Beese(sp) and all the 
Swine one plow and Geers Beds and Beding, and likewise all the Household 
Furniture provision and Clothing and in short all the Property the said Isaac 
Simons is now possesed(sp) of To have and to hold the same he his Heirs Exrs. 
Admrs. Or Assigns forever.  And I the said Isaac Simmons for myself my Heirs 
Exrs. Admrs. The whole of the said property unto the said Charles Fair his 
Heirs Exrs. Admrs.

or Assigns against me my Heirs Executors and/or(sp) Admrs. and every other 
person whatsoever shall and will forever warrant and defend by these presents 
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this 12th day   Isaac
