This Indenture made this 29th day of December 1854 between Samuel and Nancy 
Stephens of Frederick County, MD of one part and Edward W. Hughes of same 2nd 
part, in consideration of $100 paid by said Edward W. Hughes, sell tract of land 
called "New Market Plains" . . . containing one acre more or less; it being same 
lot or parcel conveyed by Caleb Ogborn to Samuel Stephens by deed bearing date 4 
August 1841 and recorded H.S. 510 and 512 Land Records, Frederick County. . .
