"Troublesome Job" pt. $240 12 acres Ex & del grantee order pd. 21 March 1825. At the request of John ADLESPERGER Junior the following deed is recorded 22 July 1823 viz: This indenture made this 11 April 1823 between Hannah Oler of Frederick County Maryland of the one part and John ADLESPERGER Junior of the same place of the other part. Witnefseth that Hannah OLER for and in consideration of the sum of $240 current money to her in hand paid by John ADLESPERGER Junior before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof Hannah OLER doth hereby acknowledge and herself therewith to be fully satisfied contented and paid hath granted bargained and sold aliened enfeoffed confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell alien enfeoff and confirm unto the said John ADLESPERGER Junior his heirs and afsigns forever all that piece or parcel of land being part of a tract of land called Troublesome Job lying and being in Frederick County aforesaid. Beginning for the said part at a stone planted at the end of the 2nd line of a tract of land called HighBernia and running thence with said line reversed south 70 degrees east 16 perches to a stone, north 8 degrees east 46 ½ perches to a stone planted at the end of 77 ½ perches on the 3rd line of the deed from Thomas ADAMS to John SHEELY and with it south 82 ¾ degrees west 62 ¾ perches to a rock south 15 ½ degrees east 28 perches to a stone south 80 ½ degrees east 34 perches to the place of beginning containing 12 acres of land together with all the rights profits benefits and advantages to the said bargained piece or parcel of land belonging in anywise appertaining and all the estate right title property claim interest and demand of her the said Hannah OLER of in and to the same To have and to hold the same piece or parcel of land with the premises and appurtenances unto John ADLESPERGER Junior his heirs and afsigns to the only proper use benefit and behoof of John ADLESPERGER Junior his heirs and afsigns forever and for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever and the said Hannah OLER for herself heirs executors administrators doth covenant and agree to and with John ADLESPERGER Junior his heirs and afsigns that the said Hannah OLER and her heirs the said piece or parcel of land with the premises and appurtenances unto him the said John ADLESPERGER his heirs and afsigns forever against her Hannah OLER and her heirs and against all and every other person or persons lawfully claiming or hereafter lawfully to claim by from or under her or them shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents In Witnefs whereof the said Hannah Oler hath hereunto set her hand and affixed her seal the day and year first within written Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of John BOMGARDNER and George PETERS (Hannah[her x mark] OLER which was thus endorsed to wit Frederick County, Maryland, to wit, On the day of the date of the within instrument of writing persanlly appears Hannah OLER, the party grantor within named before us the subscribers two of the Justices of the Peace in and for said county and acknowledges the within deed to be her act and deed and the land and premises therein mentioned and thereby bargained and sold to be the right and estate of the within named John ADLESPERGER Junior the party grantee also therein named his heirs and afsigns forever according to the purport true intent and meaning of the said deed and the acts of afsembly in such case made and provided.
