Liber JS3, Page 738 – At the request of Ezekel Stevens the following deed 
requested December 18, 1816 to wit. This Indenture made this 18th day of 
December 1816 between Charles Stevens, Sr. of Frederick County State of Maryland 
of the one part and Ezekel Stevens of the other part of same . . . wit: that 
said Charles Stevens for and in consideration of the same $250 to him in hand 
paid by the said Ezekel Stevens . . . grant bargain sold . . . parcel of land 
being part of tract of land called Middle Plantation which was conveyed by 
Samuel Duvall to the said Charles Stevens by deed bearing date December 21, 
1795.
