All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/md/mdfiles.htm ************************************************ Source: Frederick County, MD Courthouse - Records Dept Libr JS9, Pg 147 – At the request of Jacob Larkin and others the following deed is requested 24 June 1819; viz: This Indenture made this 20th day of March 1819 between John Larkin and Mary of the County of Frederick State of Maryland of the one part and Jacob Larkin, Isaiah Price, John Lucas, Charles Stevens Jr., Richard Crutchley, Daniel Yandas and Isaac Angel, Trustees in Trust for the uses and purposes herein after mentioned all of the County and State aforesaid of the other part, witness that the said John Larkin and Mary for and in consideration of the sum $30 current money of the U.S. to them in hand paid . . . hereby acknowledge . . .granted bargained sold release . . .unto them the said Jacob Larket et.al. a certain lot or piece of ground situate lying and being in the County aforesaid being part of a tract of land called “Hit(?) Time” which was on the 26 of March 1790 conveyed by Thomas Bealty to the said John Larkin consisting of ½ acre . . . unto them the said Jacob Larkin et.al. . . . in trust that they shall erect and build thereon . . . a house of worship for the use of the members of the Methodist Episcopal Church of the United States of America . . .
