I, Nathan Stephens, acting executor of the Last Will of said Samuel Stephens, dec'd, under power in said will contained and in pursuance of an order of the Orphans Court of Frederick County in consideration of the sum of $450 have bargained and sold to Grafton B. Hammond all the east half of Front Lot #32 and Back Lot #99, situated in Alley #5 on the north side of the Main Street of the Town of New Market commonly called "Nicholas Halls" part of said town, it being the same property hereto fore conveyed by John S. Roberts to said Samuel Stephens by deed 14 May 1833 and recorded J.S. 44, Page 200 of Land Records Frederick County.
