Liber WR19, Page 267 – 1/18/1800 – John Stephens and Baisel Richards sale – At 
the request of John Stephens the following Bill of sale was requested 1/18/1800.  
This Indenture made this 7th day of January 1800 between Basil Richards of 
Frederick County State of Maryland of the one part and Jhn Stephens of the same.  
Wit. To the said Basil Richards for land in consideration of the sum 50£ . . . 
in hand paid . . . hath sold unto the said John Stephens . .. all the goods, 
household stuff . . . and furniture . . .and contained in the schedule hereunto 
that is to say one feather bed, two head of horses, 2 head of cattle, 6 hogs . .
