Bringing two slaves from Virginia
Written: January 6, 1801
Recorded: January 6, 1801

Frederick County Land Records WR 20 398

At the request of Thomas Noland the following certificate of slaves was 
recorded January 6th 1801 to wit:
Thomas Noland a resident of the State of Maryland being seized and possessed 
of an estate of inheritance in his own right lying in the Commonwealth of 
Virginia and the owner of slaves worked on said land removed and brings two of 
the said slaves with the State of Maryland on the land of the said Thomas 
Noland for his the said Thomas Noland own use and not for sale as per list 
below viz:
Negro Jane a woman slave aged about three or four and twenty years, negro 
Frank a negro boy slave, son of the said Jane aged about six months brought 
into the state in the month of December 1800.
