Engagement Announced
  Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Dubel, of Rocky Ridge, announce the engagement of 
thir [sic] daughter, Jean Barbara, to Elwood Olin Riffle, son of Mr. and Mrs. 
Albert J. Riffle, of Thurmont.
  Miss Dubel is a graduate of Emmitsburg High School and is now employed at 
the C. and P. Telephone Co. office there.
  Mr. Riffle is a graduate of Thurmont High School.  He served thirty-five 
months in the U. S. Army and over eighteen months in the Pacific theater.  He 
is now employed by his father at home.  No date has been set for the wedding.
