MRS. WILLIAM A. ABB

Mrs. Minnie Margaret Shaffer Abb, wife of William A. Abb, of near Rocky Springs,
died at the Frederick City Hospital this morning at one o’clock after an illness 
of five days.  She was aged 59 years.  She was the daughter of the late George 
E. and Mary Schiltz Shaffer and was a member of Frederick Church of God.  She is 
survived by her husband and the following stepchildren:  Irving A. Abb, Braddock; 
Mrs. Melvin Lescalleet, Frederick; Mrs. Charles L. Myers, Frederick; and Mrs. 
Floyd Spaulding, Frederic.  One brother Charles C. Shaffer, of Braddock and one 
sister Miss Mollie J. Shaffer, Rocky Springs, also survive.  Funeral services 
will take place Wednesday afternoon leaving her late home at 1:30 o’clock with 
final services at Rocky Springs church at two o’clock.  Interment in Mt. Olivet
cemetery.  M.R. Etchison and Son, funeral directors.
