Michael Anders

Michael Anders, a much respected citizen of Woodsboro, died at his home 
yesterday afternoon at 5 o’clock, of general debility, aged 69 years and 2 
months.  Mr. Anders had been a sufferer for the past year.  He is survived by a 
widow and 9 children:  George, Oscar, Morris and Jacob, of Ohio; Charles, of 
Frederick; Mrs. Charles Trout, Mrs. Lewis Alexander, of near Walkersville; Mrs. 
Charles Strine, of near Woodsboro; and Miss Laura Anders, at home.  
  The funeral will take place on Saturday morning at 10 o’clock, with services 
at the house, conducted by his pastor, Rev. R. St. Claire Poffenberger.  
Sharetts and Powell are the undertakers in charge.
