Mrs. William F. Birely
  Mrs. Ella May Birely died Friday afternoon at her home in Keymar after a 
week’s illness, at the age of 74 years, three months, and four days.  She was 
a daughter of the late Lewis and Hannah Slimmer Harwetel.  She is survived by 
her husband, William f. Birely; one son, Lewis A. Birely, Westminster; and one 
sister, Miss Lula Harwetel, Baltimore.  Mrs. Birely was an active member of 
Haugh’s Mt. Zion Lutheran church.
  Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon from the late home at 1.30 
o’clock.  Burial in Haugh’s Mt. Zion Lutheran church cemetery.  Rev. H. H. 
Schmidt, her pastor, will officiate.  Raymond K. Wright, funeral director.
