BLAKE Charles G. Blake, a native of Frederick died Monday afternoon at 5:30 o’clock in St. Louis, Mo., after an illness following a recent stroke of paralysis. Mr. Blake had been a resident of St. Louis since 1896 and had held a position with the Mobile and Ohio Railroad since that time. He was 69 years of age. The deceased was the son of the late William and Rebecca Ellen Blake, of Frederick, and married Miss Mary Hillary Hammond, of Frederick county. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary H. H. Blake, St. Louis; a daughter, Mrs. F. Malcolm White, and two granddaughters, Misses Mary Maxine and Charlotte Blake White, all of “White Acres,” Dickerson, Montgomery county, and one sister, Mrs. Dudley Page, this city. The body will be brought by train from St. Louis, arriving at Dickerson Thursday morning at 10.30 o’clock. Services will be held at Mt. Olivet cemetery at 11 o’clock, followed by interment there.
