Mrs. Catherine Burrier
  Mrs. Catherine Burrier, wife of the late Charles D. Burrier, and the oldest 
resident of Walkersville, died Saturday at 3 a. m. at her home at that place 
after a lingering illness.  She was aged 89 years, 11 months and five days.
  She was a daughter of the late Samuel and Catherine Hoke and had lived her 
entire life in the vicinity of Walkersville.  She is survived by the following 
sons and daughters; C. Frank Burrier, S. Robert Burrier, Frederick; J. Howard 
Burrier, at home; Mrs. Helen Zimmerman, Owings Mills; Mrs. Nannie Murphy, 
Kentland, Ind.; Mrs. T. J. Oland, Beallsville; Mrs. Fannie Musser, Baltimore.  
One sister, Mrs. Rebecca Jones, Frederick, seven grandchildren and 21 great-
grandchildren also survive.
  The funeral will take place this afternoon at 2 o’clock from the late home.  
Interment in Mr. Olivet cemetery, Frederick.  Please omit flowers.  G. C.
