Bussard Mrs. Ophelia “Peck” L. Bussard, 62, of 1320 Peachtree Court, Frederick, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of William Jack Bussard. Born Feb. 3, 1921, in Woodsboro, Mrs. Bussard was a daughter of the late Maurice and Blanche L. Smith Donsife. Mrs. Bussard attended the Frederick Alliance Church. Prior to retirement, she had been employed as a clerk by Drug Fair Inc., Frederick, Silver Spring and Mount Airy. Besides her husband, Mrs. Bussard is survived by two sons, the Rev. William J. Bussard, Baltimore, and R. Frank Bussard, York, Pa.; one daughter Mrs. William (Nonie) Ritchie, Beltsville; one brother, Elmer Z. Donsife, Frederick; eight grandchildren, Kelly M. Bussard, Miss Karen L. Bussard, Miss Teresa M. Bussard, Miss Jennifer L. Bussard and Miss Deborah A. Bussard, all of Baltimore, Robert F. Bussard, Miss Alecia M. Bussard, both of York, Pa., and Michael J. Ritchie, Beltsville. Mrs. Bussard was predeceased by one son, Maurice “Ricky” Bussard and one brother, Robert E. Donsife. Friends may call at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. On Friday, Jan. 20, Mrs. Bussard will be taken to the Frederick Alliance Church, 1631 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, where she will repose from 12:30 until time of services at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Charles W. Walz, assisted by the Rev. John E. Bussard, will officiate. Interment will be in Rocky Hill Cemetery, Woodsboro. Those desiring may send memorial contributions in Mrs. Bussard’s name to the Frederick Chapter, American Cancer Society, 22 S. Market St., Frederick, Md. 21701.
