THURSTON CRONISE P. Thurston Cronise, 54, Westminister real estate agent and formerly of New Windsor and Liberytown [sic], died Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock in University Hospital, Baltimore, of a cerebral embolism following an appendectomy of a few days previous. He was a son of Curbington and the late Mary Moore Cronise and was raised in Libertytown and New Windsor. Besides his father, who resides in Fruitland, Fla., he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna Cronise; a daughter, Mrs. Clarence Knox, Westminster; three sons, T. Vincent, Baltimore; Eugene and Arvin, at home; a brother, Norman Cronise, East Orange, N. J.; three sisters, Mrs. Chester Shepperd, Washington; Mrs W. E. Hoke, New Windsor, and Mrs. Bessie Parsons, Alabama. Friends may call at the late home, 185 Pennsylvania avenue, until noon Tuesday. Private services will be conducted at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Deedes, Westminster, by Rev. Nevin Smith. Burial in Krider’s cemetery, Westminster. D. D.
