JOHN H. DETRICK
  Mr. John H. Detrick, a well-known farmer of near Monrovia, this county, died 
at his home at 3.30 o’clock this morning, after an illness of about three 
weeks.  The deceased leaves a widow, who is a sister of Mr. Wm. S. Miller, and 
three children, Mr. Detrick was well known and esteemed amongst a large circle 
of acquaintances.  He was a man of excellent character, and his loss is one 
that is deeply felt.  The funeral will take place on Monday morning from the B. 
& O. depot.  Interment will be made in Mr. Olivet Cemetery.  He was 69 years 
old.
