Mr. Donsife had lived his entire life operating a blacksmith and machine shop in Woodsboro. He was talented with machinery and was a skilled iron worker. He learned his trade under his father and uncle, who were blacksmiths before him. Born in Woodsboro, he was the son of the late Otho and mary Susan Gessey Donsife. Surviving, besides his wife, Mrs. Celeste Morgan Donsife, are two daughters, Mrs. Frances Hahn and Miss Mary Jane Donsife, both of Woodsboro; one grandchild, Donald Hahn, three great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Catherine Keeney, Richmond, Va. And one brother, Maurice Donsife, Woodsboro. The deceased was a member of the Woodsboro Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held at the late residence Thursday at 11 a. m. Rev. E. F. Hoffmeier will officiate. Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family request that flowers be omitted. Friends may call at the late home. Powell and Hartzler, funeral directors.
