Wolfsville, Jan 17, 1884

Mrs. Mahala Dubel, wife of John D. Dubel, living near this place, 
was paralyzed on Thursday of last week and died on Friday, the 11th, 
and buried on the following Sunday.  Rev. A. M. Smith, her pastor, 
conducted the funeral service.  Mrs. Dubel was 59 years old and much 
beloved by all who knew her.
