Mr. Banke died of pancreatic cancer. He was the husband of Violet Herrmann Banke whom he married June 4, 1938. They were married for 61 years. Born Aug. 2, 1911 in North Dakota, he was a son of the late Adolf and Anna Rosen Banke. Mr. Banke was the director of Christian Education and minister of music for many years at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Anoka. Surviving in addition to his wife are four children, Marianna Busching Bolin and husband the Rev. Eugene Bolin of Walkersville, the Rev. Dale Banke and wife Carol of Glendale, Calif., Kay de Haan and husband Rolf of Madison, Ala., and Stephen Banke of Glendale; six grandchildren, Paul Busching of Rochelle, Ill., Sharon Busching of Baltimore, Philip Busching of Rapid City, S.D., Andrea Banke of Sioux Falls, S.D., Joshua Banke of Portland, Ore., and Stuart de Haan of Tucson, Ariz.; and two great-granddaughters, Ingrid and Hanna Buschin. Funeral services were held April 30, at the Gathering: A Family of Faith Episcopal Church which meets at the Glade Elementary School, 9525 Glade Road, Walkersville. The Rev. Eugene Bolin officiated. Inurnment was in the Mausoleum in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. The family requests that memorial donations be made in memory of Mr. Banke to Hospice of Frederick County, P.O. Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702. *****May 11, 2000***** Dorothy Mae Riddlemoser Mrs. Dorothy Mae Riddlemoser, 85, of Frederick died Friday, May 5, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Francis Riddlemoser. Born March 22, 1915, in Harmony, she was the daughter of the late George Upton and Hattie V. Wachter Shepley. Mrs. Riddlemoser had been a sales associate at Eyerly's, which is now the Bon Ton, for 15 years retiring in 1987. She was a member of Frederick Evangelical Lutheran Church for more than 50 years where she was active in the Friendly Girls Class, a group that delivered flowers and other items to shut-ins. Surviving is one son, James E. Riddlemoser of Jessup; two grandchildren, Jeffrey T. and Steven C. Riddlemoser, both of Frederick; one niece, Hilda Hoffman and husband Earl and family; and one nephew, Harold Toms and wife Dolly. Mrs. Riddlemoser was preceded in death by one sister, Florence Toms; and six brothers, Roscoe, Clarence, Floyd, Martin, Austin and Paul Shepley. She will also be remembered by special friends, Roger and Dreama Nester. Funeral services were held May 9, in Stauffer Funeral Chapel, Frederick. Her pastor, the Rev. Walter P. Fogarty, officiated. Interment was in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1080 W. Patrick St., Suite 11-150, Frederick, MD 21703. *****May 18, 2000***** Louis A. Feliciano Mr. Louis A. Feliciano, 71, of 419 White Oak Place, Frederick, died Sunday, May 14, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Rosa A. Rivera Feliciano. Born Nov. 3, 1928, in Guananilla, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Alfonso and Teresa Rodriguez Feliciano. Mr. Feliciano was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Frederick. He also was a member and former treasurer of the Hispanic Club of Frederick. He was a veteran serving with the U.S. Army, during the Korean War. He was employed with the U.S. Government for several years, and retired in 1993, as a system analyst with the Federal Aviation Administration. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Feliciano had received many outstanding achievement awards for his contributions to the government and the FAA. Following retirement, he did consulting work with the Automated Information Management Inc. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Gloria Maria Santillo and husband Luigi of Germantown, and Teresa Maria Feliciano of Frederick; one son, Luis Roberto Feliciano and wife Jan Ingram Feliciano of Hagerstown; one granddaughter, Nicole Marie Santillo of Germantown; and one brother, Teofilo Feliciano of Puerto Rico. Family received friends May 17, at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home on 106 E. Church St. A Rosary was recited at the funeral home on Wednesday evening. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 18, from Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 118 E. Second St., Frederick. Interment will be in Saint John's Cemetery, Frederick. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be sent to St. John's Regional School, 114 E. Second St., Frederick, MD 21701; or the Grotto of the Lourdes, Mount Saint Mary's College, 16300 Old Emmitsburg Road, Emmitsburg, MD 21727.
