Dorsey Edith B. Dorsey, 71, of Frederick died on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born June 14, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Beatrice and Leon Washington. She was the beloved wife of James A. Dorsey of Frederick; devoted mother of Steven Sterling, James A. Jr., Nora L. and Wayne Dorsey. She also leaves four grandchildren; one sister, Mae Dorsey; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Dorsey were held at Friendship United Methodist Church, 27701 Ridge Road, Damascus, on Dec. 19. The Rev. F. Stewart officiated. Interment was at the church cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Snowden Funeral Home. *****Jan. 10, 2002***** Michael R. King Sr. Mr. Michael R. King Sr., 42, of Thurmont, died suddenly Sunday, Dec. 30, 2001 at the Shock Trauma Center of University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore from injuries he sustained in an accident. He was born March 9, 1959 in Olney. He was the son of Sarah Kemp King of Thurmont and the late James R. Pete King. Surviving besides his mother are two sons, Michael R. King Jr. of Williamsport and James R. King of Frederick; one sister Peggy King of Lewistown and one brother James E. King of Knoxville. Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 5 at the Olin L. Molesworth, P.A. Funeral Home at 26401 Ridge Road in Damascus. The Reverend Lynn Glassbrook pastor of Clarksburg United Methodist Church officiated. Interment was held at the Clarksburg Methodist Cemetery. For those desiring, expressions of sympathy may be in the form of contributions to the Michael R.
