She was wife of the late James Raymond King. Born Aug. 23, 1922 in Frederick she was a daughter of the late William E. and Marcella Wetzel Kemp. Mrs. King was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist faith. Surviving her are two children: James E. King and his wife Earlene of Knoxville and Peggy King of Thurmont. Three grandchildren: Crystal King of Augusta, W.Va., Michael R. King, Jr. of Williamsport and James R. King of Knoxville, two sisters: Margaret Noll and husband Bernie of Martinsburg, W.Va. and Carrie Young of Woodsboro and a brother Claude Kemp of Freeport, Fla. She is preceded in death by her son Michael R. King, Sr. in December 2001. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 4 at the Olin L. Molesworth P.A., Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road in Damascus. The Reverend Lynn Glassbrook of Clarksburg United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Clarksburg Methodist Cemetery. Irving Gue, 85, of Monrovia, died on Monday, April 1, 2002 at Homewood at Crumland Farms, Frederick. He was the husband of the late Doris Hawkins Gue. Born on Jan. 20, 1917 in Etchison he was the son of the late William R. and G. Edna Burns Gue. Mr. Gue was a resident of the Damascus area for over 50 years, before moving to nearby Monrovia in the late 1980s. Surviving are one son Ronald L. Gue of Amelia Island, Fla. Grandchildren Kevin Gue of Prunedale, Ca., Kathleen Pappa of Chatham, Ill., Lisa Pickens of Houston, Texas, and Lauren Gue of Potomac. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren, one brother James L. Gue of Mount Airy and Sister Ruth Gue Payne of Frederick. Funeral Services were held on April 4 at the Olin L. Molesworth Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus. Interment was in Mt. Tabor Church Cemetery, Etchison. Mr. Michael Eric Miller, 39, of Brunswick, died April 13, 2002, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Meredith Miller, his wife of 10 years. Born Oct. 11, 1962, in Olney, he was the son of Maurice and Sharon Duncan Miller of Frederick. He graduated from Gaithersburg High School in 1980. Mr. Miller served in the United States Navy from January 1983 until December 1988. He was honorably discharged as Petty Officer 2nd Class. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two sons, Jonathan and Zadok Miller, both at home; two brothers, Mark Miller and wife Darla of Tecumseh, Okla., and Martin Miller and wife, Kendra, of Frederick; one niece and two nephews. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Cornerstone Fellowship, 66 Waverly Drive, Frederick. Burial was in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick. Arrangements were handled by Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Mr. James Henry Skinner, 82, of Frederick, died Sunday, April 7, 2002, at the Sunrise Retirement Center. He was the husband of the late Ruth Mae Hart Skinner, who died October 11, 1998. Born August 12, 1919, in Nova Scotia, Canada, he was a son of the late Ernest G. Skinner and Carlotta Beautilier Skinner. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army, where he received various metals. He is survived by his three children, David E. Skinner of Birmingham, Mich., Kathleen S. Allardyce of Germantown, and Lynn S. Lukas of Peachtree City, Ga.; a sister Margaret Buchan of Sun City, Ariz.; and a friend and Care Manager, Heather Earnes. Mr. Skinner was also preceded in death by a brother, Jack Skinner. Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 10 at 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Bishop Carl Purvenas-Smith officiated. Funeral services were also be held on Saturday, April 13, at the Manns- Ferguson Funeral Home in Farmington, Mich. Internment was in Glen Eden Lutheran Memorial Park, Livonia, Mich.
