Robert Nelson
  Robert W. Nelson, 47, of Sykesville, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2002, at his home. 
He was the husband of JoAnne Marie Nelson (nee Campitell) of Sykesville.
  He was born June 29, 1955, in Missoula, Mont., the son of Robert Gruber Nelson 
of Fairfield, Pa., and the late Irene Mary Nelson (nee Tews). 
  He was a retired seventh-grade science teacher for Walkersville Middle School, 
park ranger at Sandy Point State Park, and he participated in a program "Hooked 
on Fishing, Not on Drugs." He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Community in 
Eldersburg. 
  Surviving besides his wife are daughter Jessica and sons Joe and Tony Nelson, 
all of Sykesville; and sisters Linda Schindler of Severna Park, Lori Sewell of 
Fairfield and Lana Condon of Bel Air. 
  Funeral Liturgy (Mass) was held Wednesday, Nov. 6, at St. Joseph Catholic 
Community, Eldersburg, with the Father Patrick Tonry officiating. 
  Interment was private
  Contributions can be made to A.L.S. Association. 
  Arrangements were made by: Burrier-Queen Funeral Directors, Pa., Winfield.
