Miss Carrie E. Harbaugh
  One of the oldest living school teachers in Maryland, Miss Carrie E. 
Harbaugh, Middleburg, died at the Frederick County Chronic Disease Hospital 
Thursday evening at the age of 95 years.
  Miss Harbaugh taught for 45 years in Carroll and Frederick counties.  She 
was a member of Haugh’s Mt. Zion Lutheran church, near Ladiesburg, and was 
superintendent of the primary department of the Sunday School for 75 years.
  She had been a patient at the hospital for the past four months.  Prior to 
that she resided at a home for the aged.  She was the last of her immediate 
family and was a daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Anders Harbaugh.
  Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at three o’clock at Haugh’s 
church.  Her body will lie in state at the church from 2 until 3 p. m. 
Sunday.  Interment will be in Woodsboro cemetery.  C. O. Fuss and Son, funeral 
directors.
