HARBAUGH Miss Sarah E. Harbaugh, for 45 years prominent in choir work in the Lutheran church died suddenly Monday evening at her home in Middleburg. She was a daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Anders Harbaugh and was aged 71 years. She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran church and active in church work. The family resided near Taneytown many years. The deceased had been in declining health, but her condition was not alarming when she retired last evening. A short time later it was discovered by members of the family that she had passed away in her slepp. She is survived by three sisters and a brother as follows; The Misses Alice V. and Carrie E. Harbaugh, Mrs. Anna A. Biddinger and Frank G. Harbaugh, all of Middleburg. Funeral services will be conducted this morning, meeting at the late residence at 10:30 o’clock, with further services in Haugh’s Lutheran church and burial in Mt. Hope cemetery, Woodsboro. Her pastor, Rev. H. H. Schmidt, will officiate.
