Completely resigned she waited patiently her fate. She need only be known to be highly respected and was loved by all who were privileged to appreciate her many virtues. She was buried in the Central Cemetery on February 3rd. Rev. Mr. Ewing, the pastor of Frederick M. P. Circuit, preached the funeral sermon, assisted by Rev. Jesse Shreve, a former pastor, now pastor of Liberty Circuit. The remarks were becoming. The church was crowded beyond its capacity. The young lady was taken in the prime of life and will be greatly missed by her family, her associates and all who knew her.
