Mr. S. Fenton Hargett, aged 66 years. 4 months and 7 days, died last night at
midnight at his late home near Frederick, of a complication of diseases. Mr.
Hargett was born June 7, 1846, near Frederick, and was a very successful farmer.
He was a life-long member of the Mount Zion church, and held many offices in the
same. He is survived by a widow and three children, Mrs. C. M. Derr, of
Baltimore; Mr. Lewis B.Hargett, of near Frederick, and Mr. J. F. Hargett, of
Germantown. The funeral will take place on Thursday morning at 10.30 o'clock
from his late home. Interment will be made in Mt Olivet cemetery. C. C. Cartyis
the funeral director.
